SUNDAY 22nd SEPTEMBER 2013:

300, 750 & 1,500 meters Open Water Swim.

Plunge into the ocean and join the Southern Right Whales while under strict supervision of NSRI the swimmers will follow a circle route from the slipway in the Old Harbour.

This is a great opportunity for supporters to follow your progress from the habour wall.

Online Entry Fee: 1,500 m – R130.00, 750m – R80.00, 300 m – R60.00

Late Registration: 1,500 m – R150.00, 750m – R100.00, 300 m – R80.00

MONDAY 23rd SEPTEMBER 2013:

10 & 6 km Night Run.

The 10km route will follow the Hermanus Cliff Path from the New Harbour all along the coastline to Grotto Beach, Hermanus’s own Blue flag beach. With the whales snorting, the waves rolling in and the rhythm of your heart guiding you all the way to the finish, you are sure to take part in THE most unforgettable experience.

The 6km route will start at the midway waterpoint at the Marine Hotel lawn.

This is a night run, a torch or headlamp is compulsory.

Online Entry Fee: 10 km – R80.00, 6 km – R60.00

Late Registration: 10 km – R100.00, 6 km – R80.00

Limited to 250 runners.

Park and Ride from Grotto Beach to the New Harbour only available to online pre-bookings departing from Grotto at 18h30.

55, 30 & 15 km Mtb Rides and a 3 km Kiddies Fun Ride.

Come and enjoy our stunning trails into the Hemel en Aarde Valley. New single track and bridges have been built to add flavour to the existing trails. Fynbos, vineyards,waterfalls and whales will create an unforgettable backdrop for the most awesome trails winding through the valley. Water points along the way will not leave you dry.

There is a route that will cater for all fitness and skill levels.

SATURDAY 28th SEPTEMBER 2013:

Distances: 18km, 12km, 6km

Beautiful mountain trails with river crossings and some lung busting climbs will lead you through breathtaking scenery to amazing viewpoints. Winding through fynbos, vineyards, riverbeds and some mountain forests, the trails will lead you into the valley and slowly winding its way down again to the finish. A must do on all trail runners’ calendar and the perfect opportunity to join one of the fastest growing sports in South Africa.
